Cairo-Suez road development work inspected by President El-Sisi
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected development work along the Cairo-Suez road. There were bridges built over the road to connect it to a number of main crossroads, including the Ring Road, which is being upgraded. This includes the Middle Ring Road, which connects east and west Greater Cairo, and the Regional Ring Road, which serves the governorates of Upper Egypt and the Nile Delta.
The Om Qamar axis links Ismailia agricultural road and Cairo-Ismailia desert road, passing through Cairo-Suez road and Al Qattamiya-Ain Sokhna road, which ends by connecting the mines (Mahager) road to the Om Qamar axis. The Suez motorway spans 109 km with 24 bridges. Connecting eastern Cairo with the rest of the country, it is a major traffic artery.
This is the main northern gate of the New Administrative Capital. It is part of an integrated network of axes that serve as the arteries for sustainable development. These axes support easy and rapid transportation of citizens, eliminating traffic congestions, reducing emissions, and saving energy. In addition, it contributes to the expansion of trade and investment.
